[cta-box] Hi, this is Jeff Wenberg from Leadpages. A lot of things that marketers do to optimize for conversions, but a lot of times, these optimizations will lead to these pages not being approved by Google AdWords or by other ad networks because what converts doesn’t always align with what the ad networks want to see on those pages. Again, most of the landing pages that marketers are using will not be approved to buy ads with AdWords and other ad networks because they don’t have the specific things on them that the ad networks like to see. If they are approved, you’ll have to pay quite a bit more to get those ads. For example, Google doesn’t like those things such as low-quality bridge pages, mismatched ad copy and landing page content, duplicate content, and hiding the true purpose of your site. To emphasize what I mean... Google or Facebook would never allow you to buy ads on this page, or if they did, it will get shut down right away. You’ll also run into this problem with a lot of pages created from out of the box WordPress themes. On a flip side, Google does like more relevant, useful and original content on the page information directly related to the keywords, a clean-and-easy-to-navigate format, and transparency and trustworthiness. In Leadpages, we have templates designed for a lot of different functions. We’ve had a lot of request for an AdWords compliant page, and we’re happy to announce we now have an AdWords and PPC template available for you. This template was donated by Juan Martitegui from MindValley Hispano. Juan is a huge friend of Leadpages and is a total super user. He’s someone we really trust with the direction of the product so we’d like to say thanks to Juan for donating this template. A link to Juan’s site is below the video for you to check out and we’d love for you to reach out to Juan and thank him personally by tweeting him directly on Twitter at Juan Martitegui. This template looks fantastic, is interactive, and of course, is mobile responsive so it will adjust for different sized screens. Something really cool about this template is the navigation links at the top and throughout the page. These links, they link up to the different sections of the page for quick navigation. There’s a lot here for you to make a really in-depth page and this style of page has been tested and received incredible quality scores from Google, but you can remove elements you don’t neither want so it works for your particular situation. If you’re not a Leadpages customer, you will need to be a coder or hire a coder to make the downloadable template below work. You’ll need to download the HTML and CSS below and modify them using your coding skills or the coder you hire, and then you’ll integrate it with your auto responder, your shopping cart, and Facebook etcetera. You’ll get your landing page code you’ve generated and then publish the page. If you’re a Leadpages customer, here’s how easy it is to customize this page. A quick side note. If you’re not using ad networks like AdWords or Facebook ads, in most cases, it’s best not to use the AdWords template, but if you are using things like AdWords and Facebook ads, find the AdWords/PPC ready squeeze page template, and then click on use this template. If you’ve got a background image, you can use that here or you can simply have the section B a particular color that matches your branding. You can set all the colors for all the buttons and text here. You can change your font. To sync with your auto responder, first, you select which service you’d like to use, for example, AWeber, Infusionsoft, MailChimp, or whatever you use, then select the form you’d like to integrate with, and you can do this without having to log in to your account for instance at AWeber, get the code, and copy and paste it here. It’s all there for you to easily select. And click on okay. You throw in your logo here at the top and it will populate throughout the page. If you want to rearrange the navigation for any reason, you can do that here. If you’ve got a product image, you can select that here. If you’d like to customize any of the text throughout the page, just click on it, add your text, and then click okay. Here, you can add all the info about your products so people can purchase it. You can change the price, add your purchase link. Let’s say we’re going to go ahead and hide the phone box in this section, we’ll just click on hidden, and then okay. And once you’re done customizing, you would just click on Save to My Pages, name the page then with a click of a button, you can publish this page through our servers, publish it to WordPress, publish it to Facebook as a Facebook tab, or finally, you can download the file and put it on your own server. This template is immediately available for Leadpages customers. If you’re not a Leadpages customer and you’d like to be, check out the link below this video. I’m Jeff Wenberg and have a great day.
