What 200 Cancellation Reviews Taught Us About Our Page Builder

We read every cancellation review. All 200 of them from the past year.

Some were polite. Some were not. One person said it was "crazy" we didn't have image carousels when their entire business was a portfolio. Another called our multi-user access "incredibly odd and archaic." Fair.

The patterns were clear: mobile editing didn’t work properly, forms were too basic (no dropdowns, no multi-select), and our positioning controls were too rigid compared to what Webflow and Framer offered. Multiple people said the price felt too high for what they were getting.

Here’s the part we don’t love admitting: they were right.

Our legacy builder’s architecture had fundamental problems we couldn’t patch our way out of. We didn’t have pixel-perfect positioning for page elements. You couldn’t properly customize your page per device. Adding modern form fields broke things. The mobile editor was one-way and buggy, and over 70% of your traffic is on mobile.

So we made a call: stop trying to fix what couldn’t be fixed and rebuild from scratch.

What we shipped on February 2

Page Studio (that’s what we’re calling our brand new shiny builder) launches in public beta with:

  • Responsive editing that actually works. Customize desktop, tablet, and mobile independently. Show or hide elements per device. The mobile-to-desktop sync that frustrated everyone? Gone.
  • Pixel-perfect positioning. Absolute, relative, fixed, sticky. Place elements where you want them, not where the grid dictates.
  • Forms with dropdown and multi-select fields. The fields you've been asking for. Plus hidden fields, custom labels, placeholder text, and proper URL mapping.
  • Saved sections library. Add pre-built sections to build the bulk of your page in a few clicks. Or, build your own sections. Save it once, organize it with categories, reuse it everywhere.
  • Global styles. Set your fonts, colors, and button styles once. Repeat for as many brands as needed. Apply your style, and watch it update your entire page instantly.

What’s coming up in the pipeline

We know marketers need split testing, so we want to do it right the first time.If you're running active split tests in our legacy builder, don’t rebuild your pages in Page Studio yet. Split testing is our top priority for Q1 2026 and required before we exit beta.

For Q2 2026, we’re working hard on delivering AI page generation. Imagine describing your business or campaign goals, and getting a high-performing landing built for you in minutes. Page Studio as you know it in beta is the foundation for this new experience.

The features that came up repeatedly in cancellations: image carousels and accordions. We hear you - they’re coming later in beta.

Why beta, and what that means

Beta means we’re shipping something we believe is ready to be used, but we’re being honest that it’s not feature-complete. You’ll encounter gaps, and maybe some bugs. Some things will be rough. Beta means there’s room for improvement, and we want your feedback to shape what comes next.

If you’re planning to build new pages, you’ll benefit immediately from the responsive editing and positioning improvements. If you're heavily using split testing, wait for us to ship that (we'll tell you when).

Page Studio launches February 2. It’s available on all plans at no extra cost.

We’re not calling it revolutionary. We’re calling it the foundation we should have built years ago, and the architecture that lets us ship the AI features and advanced capabilities you’ve been asking for.

Thanks for the feedback that got us here. Even the uncomfortable stuff.
