A few months ago, our team came up with this simple idea to take the progress bar that’s displayed by default in LeadBoxes and animated. Our hypothesis was that we may be able to affect the conversion rate even more by drawing attention to it with animation.

So we decided to split test our default progress bar against this animated progress bar using LeadPages built in split testing tools. The results are in and the animated progress drove a 13% increase in conversions with a 99.97% chance of outperforming the static version of the progress bar.
