[cta-box] In our business, we’ve seen some of the biggest sales numbers when our colleagues and clients recommend LeadPages to their friends and colleagues, the reason being we didn’t have to try and sell ourselves to these people, we came presold so all we had to do was provide a killer product. The recommendations from our friends and colleagues did the heavy lifting for us. They provided the social proof that we needed as a company to easily overcome any objections that would normally need to be handled with a lengthy sales funnel. When you have social proof, you’re immediately elevated in status and are taken more seriously. The social proof majorly helps sell you to whatever audience is viewing your page. But using social proof can be tricky. You need to use it in a way that doesn’t look or sound like you’re bragging. We’ve created a page inside of LeadPages that you can download below that was designed and created for leveraging social proof to get opt-ins. This is the social proof opt-in page and as you can see here, the social proof almost functions like a preheadline prepping people to immediately take this page more serious. Then from there you have the headline to get them into your offer. This page is absolutely gorgeous. You have just enough area to put in a few benefits before your opt-in button then of course this page features a two-step opt-in which we always recommend people use. In fact, we’ll link to a couple of posts below this video about the importance of two-step opt-ins. Finally, if this section isn’t enough social proof, you have a testimonial section down here that can push people over the edge to opt-in. This page is also completely mobile responsive so it adjusts for whatever size screen you’re viewing this page on. Now let’s customize this page inside of LeadPages. We just launched a podcast called Conversion Cast and if you haven’t checked it out yet, please do so because it is an amazing podcast. But I need to create a page for that. So like with all LeadPages’ pages, you just click on an element to edit it. So I’m going to change out my header image, I need to change the colors a little bit and I can easily do that in the style settings here. I’m going to leave the headline as it is but I’m going to change the subhead so it reflects what I’m giving away. Then of course, I’ll update the bullet points here. You just click on it, add your text and click okay. Now we’re giving away an encyclopedia of conversion data so I’m going to add that image. Then if you’d like to hide the testimonials below, you can select hidden or if you’d like to update them, you just click on them and then update the text then the image. The cool thing here is that you don’t need to upload a round image. You can use a square image and LeadPages will make it round for you. Finally, I need to select which email service provider I’d like to integrate with and which list I want to add people to. I can also use this page as a webinar registration page if I wanted to so people would not only be added to my list but registered for an upcoming webinar. If I want to turn on Facebook registration for this page, I can turn that on here and finally I need to turn on the option to send out our version encyclopedia after somebody opts in. So I’ll turn that on and then I’ll select a file from the dropdown. Now LeadPages will handle sending the people that have opted in the LeadMagnet that you’ve selected in the dropdown. It’s a huge time saver and one of our favorite features of LeadPages. Then once you’re done customizing this page, name the page then save the page. Now once I save the page it’s now live on the internet and as soon as I hit publish, LeadPages gives me a URL I ca immediately view live on the internet. So let’s go there and check out this page. If you’d like to see this page live on the internet for yourself, you can go to ConversionCastGift.com and we’ll link to it below this video as well. So here’s the page we’ve just created and it looks fantastic. So back at the publishing window we have a few more options. You can publish the page to WordPress, publish the page to Facebook as a Facebook tab or you can download the file and put it on your own server. If you’re not a LeadPages customer, you will need to be a coder or hire a coder to make the downloadable template below work. For non-LeadPages customers, it’s a bit more difficult to set up. Here’s what you’ll need to do if you’re not a LeadPages customer. If you’re a developer, click on the link below and opt-in to get this beautiful template and our LeadMagnet delivery system will deliver it to you. Modify HMTL and CSS using your coding skills or the coder you’ve hired, integrate it with your autoresponder, WordPress, etc., get your landing page code you’ve generated and finally publish the page. So these are all the steps that you’ll need to take if you’re not a LeadPages customer. If you are a LeadPages customer, you don’t need to do anything. This template is already available in the member’s area where LeadPages handles everything for you including making it mobile responsive, sending out your LeadMagnet, integrating the page with Facebook, WordPress and so on as well as integrating the page with your autoresponder like AWeber, MailChimp, InfusionSoft, Office Autopilot, etc. If you like this new template, let us know by sharing this video with your audience. If you’re not a LeadPages customer and you’d like to use this template, head to www.LeadPages.net to get LeadPages. I'm Jeff Wenberg powering down.
