Some of them use single-screen templates that are designed to support one succinct call to action, while others adopt more complex designs, from which they take only what they need. What Stands Out: “Hot pink” and “relaxing” don’t usually describe the same object, but this page from Ali Mil Wellness radiates tranquility with a vibrant color scheme. Health coach Blanca Lopez uses the Modern Webinar Page to promote a unique real-world event series: walks that incorporate healthy destinations such as farmers markets and natural-food shops. A countdown timer and pops of bright color add urgency, while the template’s modern font and spacious content boxes balance it with a sense of peace. As pretty as this page is, don’t overlook one very cool function at the bottom: a message for Blanca’s Spanish-speaking customers and an invitation to view the site en español.
2. Nourish Sunshine – Basic Centered Squeeze Page
What Stands Out: This Basic Centered Squeeze Page is about as simple as it gets. Aside from the conversion benefits that can come with a streamlined landing page, there’s another practical benefit: when you have only a handful of elements on your page, it’s much easier to get every one of them right. That’s what Nourish Sunshine does here. The copy is both compelling and grammatically impeccable. The color palette is energetic but not glaring. The lead magnet seems both substantial—you’ll learn about a dozen different tools—but not intimidating—you probably have most of the tools at hand already. And in the background, a photo of a ripe pineapple on a simple wooden table sets the scene for a deliciously simple natural living.
3. Chip Starter – ”Biz Rockstar” Template by Markeazy
What Stands Out: Gambling is all about the thrill of risk, and the Chip Starter poker app uses the ”Biz Rockstar” Template by Markeazy to build pre-launch excitement without creating chaos. Green and white design elements shine on a dark photo background that naturally draws the eye to three places: the two call-to-action buttons and the introductory video. With a new venture, it’s helpful to find ways to establish credibility on your landing page. 4. Performance One Movement Solutions – Blog Resources Page
What Stands Out: Athletic-performance consulting company Performance One Movement Solutions takes the Blog Resources Page and stretches it into an invigoratingly bright, streamlined minisite. Well-defined sections spell out their program benefits, membership details, and company history in large type. The white background and spacious layout allow Performance One to use several different kinds of images without worrying a great deal about the color scheme. 5. New Artist Model – Social Proof Giveaway Page
What Stands Out: Music-business educators New Artist Model use the Social Proof Giveaway Page very socially: as a custom tab published directly to their Facebook page. The page convinces visitors to download a free e-book with a few well-written bullet points and an arresting book-cover image featuring a man whose Jekyll-and-Hyde fashion sense is outdone only by the YouTube tattoo on his hand. Although this template was built to highlight social proof, it makes sense that New Artist Model drops those elements in this context: the page already boasts ample social proof in the form of the page’s followers and fan interactions. 6. Hazelz World – Giveaway 2-Step Squeeze Page #2
What Stands Out: It wouldn’t do to overcomplicate a page about simplifying your morning routine. Health blog Hazelz World gives the Giveaway 2-Step Squeeze Page #2 a distinctive stamp with a few simple design choices. First, there’s the font: visually interesting and even slightly quirky, it echoes the analog-looking Hazelz logo and adds character to the plain white background. A single photo of delicious-looking shakes makes it likely that visitors will nod and click when they see the call-to-action button beckon with “Gimme My Recipes!”
7. Renovating for Profit – Single Speaker Event/Presenter/Coaching Minisite Template by Markeazy
What Stands Out: This Single Speaker Event/Presenter/Coaching Minisite Template by Markeazy is by far the longest page in this month’s roundup. It may even be the longest page I’ve seen in the last month, period. And yet there’s not an inch of wasted space: every section supports the page’s mission to get visitors to sign up or Renovating for Profit’s training. When you look at what they’re signing up for, it’s clear why so much supporting evidence is called for. The page advertises an in-depth three-day workshop on home renovation, with several different cities and ticketing options available in addition to a free video. Section by section, the page makes a case for the training’s value. We learn about the course structure, meet celebrity host Cherie Barber, and hear from past students. 8. Dr. Shalanda Moten – 404 Opt-in Page
What Stands Out: This repurposed 404 Opt-in Page doesn’t serve an error message, but it could serve as a wakeup call about a serious issue. An educator who specializes in spreading awareness about dating violence, Dr. Moten frames her important cause with lots of white space and an understated, reassuring color palate. The page as a whole is a master class in presenting an important topic in a respectful manner that’s still very compelling. I’m especially impressed by its concise copy: one alarming statistic and a message that you can do something to change that statistic—in only 15 minutes—tell us everything we need to know to start making a difference. 9. Visible Digital – Lite and Clean Multi-Use Template by Jen Gordon
What Stands Out: It appears to be the Month of the Minisite. I’ve been seeing more and more of these user-friendly one-page sites lately, and they’re only getting better as entrepreneurs become more comfortable with the format. Visible Digital uses the Lite and Clean Multi-Use Template by Jen Gordon with bright imagery and tons of white space to paint a panoramic picture of a very cool service: custom Google virtual tours for your business. The designers take full advantage of Visible Digital’s existing visual assets by showing off tours they’ve already completed. Seeing the company’s work in action is plenty convincing on its own, so the page calls out just a couple of other primary selling points: their tours are certified by Google and fully mobile responsive. What Stands Out: Smoked-meat specialists Pig of the Month use the E-Commerce Product Page not to sell, but to give something away—and cleverly increase their social reach in the process. They use the template’s built-in social share buttons to power summer sweepstakes: each share gets you a chance to win a barbecue feast for 15. Every element on the page works to get mouths watering for the contest, with no distractions. Big, luscious photos make the idea of a barbecue picnic very vivid, and bullet points break down the package details. Once visitors have entered the contest, built-in navigation links lead back to the main site so they don’t have to end up ribless even if they happen not to win.
